I draw up all of my designs myself, then work through the process of cutting, grinding, foiling, solder, patina and polish, all before getting to see how the piece will look in its final form when I hold it up to the sun. I often use textured/handmade/vintage glass pieces, so even when I'm using the same design pattern, each finished piece is totally unique.
