On Deck: *LIB 2020 - Enterprise Operations Build Lead *Electric Forest 2020 - Floral/Garden Lead Okeechobee Music Festival 2020 - Duende Builds Floral Lead/Build Crew - "Be Stage" - create and assist with installation of large-scale decor for festival main stage. 20'x20' signage decor from fabrics and natural materials, and 80' tall side panels. "Entrance Portals" - Design and implement decor for three 20' truss portals using a mix of available faux and natural gathered materials from on site. Envision Festival 2020 - Decor/Build team - build, refurbish, decorate "Los Castillos" VIP cabana bamboo structures, furniture, and lighting. Desert Daze Festival 2019 - Co-Lead Fabricator - Build/refurbish lumber pyramid structure with LED lighting, fabric and seating details. Beloved Festival 2019 - Programming Operations Coordinator - act as liaison between artistic programming and operations crew. Ensure all setup needs are advanced and coordinate large equipment and supply schedules for all installation artists, live artists, and workshop coordinators. Electric Forest 2019 - Reincarnation Village floral/garden co-lead - Floral and garden design for entire zone with seating structures, aquaponic garden, sculpture area and live painting booths. Lightning in a Bottle 2019 - Enterprises Build Crew - Fabricated and updated Enterprises facades and booths - merchandise, ice, showers, camping plazas. Envision Festival 2019 - Decor/Build Ops team - Designed and fabricated two large-scale entrance portals with LED backlit signage inspired by local flowers, and assist with construction and signage creation for a larger bamboo entrance portal. “Koru-dor” at Portland Winter Lights Festival 2019 - Light sculpture design/fabrication/installation by @SmoreArtCo . Welded steel, cellophane wrap and cut paper, mounted in-ground. “Portal Pyramid” at Desert Daze 2018 - Co-Lead Fabricator/Designer - Painted lumber pyramid structure with lighted murals, fabric and mylar details. Designed, engineered, fabricated, painted by my partner and me (@SmoreArtCo) in collaboration with Open the Portal (@opentheportal) for Desert Daze Festival Electric Forest 2018 - Reincarnation Village floral/garden team with Department of Visual Consciousness; artistic seating area fabrication, floral and garden design for zone with aquaponic garden and live painting booths. Electric Daisy Carnival 2018 - Mesas shade structure rigging team + Koru light design/fabrication lead with Bamboo DNA- lighted sculptures fabricated from welded steel, cellophane wrap and cut paper, hung from bamboo tripods. San Francisco Flower & Garden Show 2018 - 'Heliconia Pagoda' spire fabrication + bamboo structure build team with Bamboo DNA; 30-foot tall bamboo pagoda structure with heliconia plant-shaped spire fabricated from welded steel, cellophane wrap and cut paper. Oregon Eclipse 2017 - Solar Temples build team with Bamboo DNA; two permanent 60-foot tall eclipse viewing platforms built from lumber, with ornamented cupola, bamboo light fixtures and spires Faster Horses 2017 - Art Bar + Giant Skeeball build crew with Art n’ Sol; hexagonal pagoda structure with bar, exterior signage, corrugated tin roof; large-scale bowling alley style skee-ball outdoor game Electric Forest 2017 - Reincarnation Village floral/garden team + artist hospitality volunteer Lucidity Eudiamonia 2017 - Lucid Temple learn/build crew + art installation fabrication assistant; bamboo pagoda structure housing lounge area and sculpture exhibit with Bamboo DNA MayDay Festival 2012-2016 - Parade & Festival Coordinator for In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre - Coordinate all aspects of this large-scale 100K+ attendee event, including organizing permits, safety and logistics teams, extensive volunteer crew, site operations, and vending. |
